Whether you're a longtime BirdNET-Pi user, just setting up your first Raspberry Pi listening station, monitoring bats, tracking night flight calls, or simply interested in learning more about wildlife acoustics, you've found the right place.
What is BirdNET-Cloud?
BirdNET-Cloud is the next generation of BirdNET-Pi. It transforms an inexpensive Raspberry Pi into a powerful, cloud-connected wildlife listening station that identifies birds (and other wildlife) by sound 24 hours a day.
Your station performs the audio analysis locally on the Raspberry Pi, then securely uploads detections to the cloud where you can:
- View detections from anywhere in the world
- Explore interactive dashboards and timelines
- Share public stations with others
- Monitor multiple stations from one account
- Continue expanding into bats, night flight calls, and other acoustic monitoring applications
Our goal is to make wildlife acoustic monitoring accessible to everyone—from backyard bird enthusiasts to researchers, educators, and conservation organizations.
