A BirdNET-Cloud station is designed to spend its life outdoors, listening to wildlife through every season. That’s why we created a line of custom 3D-printed, weatherproof enclosures specifically for BirdNET-Cloud. Rather than adapting generic project boxes, these cases were designed from the ground up to securely house the Raspberry Pi, microphone, and supporting hardware while providing excellent protection from rain, snow, heat, and everyday outdoor conditions.

The lineup includes the PixCams BirdNET-Cloud Field Station Enclosure for the Raspberry Pi and the PixCams AudioMoth USB Enclosure for the AudioMoth USB Microphone. Together they create a professional-quality monitoring station that is compact, easy to mount, and built for long-term deployment. BirdNET-Cloud Field Station Enclosure

The BirdNET-Cloud Field Station Enclosure was designed specifically to protect and organize the core components of a dependable outdoor acoustic monitoring station. It is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Model 3, Model 4, and Model 5, giving you the flexibility to build a station with the hardware you already own or upgrade later without changing enclosures.

Each case is 3D printed from rugged outdoor-grade PETG, a durable material well suited for long-term field use. The enclosure includes four M3 threaded brass inserts for securely mounting the Raspberry Pi, along with four M3 x 5 mm screws. The kit also includes heavy-duty mounting zip ties and wood screws, so you can attach the station to a pole, post, tree, fence, or other suitable mounting surface.

A built-in microphone post securely holds a USB lapel microphone while keeping it tucked beneath the enclosure for added protection from rain and direct exposure. Cable slots provide clean routing for power, Ethernet, microphone, and other connections without requiring modifications to the case. The integrated mounting flange includes openings for both zip ties and wood screws, making installation quick and flexible in a wide range of locations.

The result is a clean, compact, and professional-looking enclosure that makes it easy to deploy a BirdNET-Cloud station in a backyard, nature center, school, park, research site, or conservation project. PixCams AudioMoth USB Enclosure

The PixCams AudioMoth USB Enclosure was designed specifically for the AudioMoth USB Microphone, providing a simple and dependable way to deploy one of the most popular ultrasonic microphones in the field. Whether you’re building a dedicated BirdNET-Cloud Bat Station or a Hybrid Bird + Bat Station, this enclosure protects the microphone while allowing it to capture both ultrasonic bat echolocation calls and audible bird vocalizations with excellent clarity.

Each enclosure is 3D printed from rugged outdoor-grade PETG, making it well suited for year-round outdoor use. The weather-resistant design shields the microphone from rain, snow, and direct sunlight while maintaining the acoustic performance needed for accurate wildlife monitoring. Integrated cable slots provide clean routing for the USB cable without requiring modifications, resulting in a neat and reliable installation.

The enclosure features an integrated mounting flange with openings for either heavy-duty zip ties or wood screws, making it easy to mount on poles, fence posts, trees, buildings, or other structures. Its compact size allows the microphone to be positioned exactly where it’s needed while remaining protected from the elements.
